Donald Charles Detert, 85, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at West Ridge Care Center. Celebration of life services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 9, at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling St. SW. Burial will be in Shueyville Cemetery, where military rites will be conducted. Visitation will be one hour prior to services Friday at Brosh Chapel.
