Donald Lee Berner, 72, of Mount Vernon, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2016, at the Iowa City VA Health Care System. Celebration of Life services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 4, at Seeds of Faith Lutheran Church, located at 798 Brenneman Lane, Lisbon, with Pastor Stephanie Malin presiding. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in Mount Vernon Cemetery, where full military rites will be conducted. Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids is in charge of arrangements.
