Donald J. Bearbower, 59, of rural Jesup, died Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2017, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City of lung cancer.
Don worked for Weitz Industrial for many years, retiring in 2017.
Survivors include his wife, Mona "Susie" of Jesup; a son, Andy (Ira) Bearbower of Madrid, Iowa; a daughter, Chelsea (Jon) Judd of Rowley; and a granddaughter, Amy Bearbower of Madrid.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5, at Reiff Funeral Home in Independence, with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery. Public visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 4, and after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
