Donald Eugene Bacon, 86, of Manchester, died at his home on Monday, March 24, 2014.
Survivors include his two daughters, Linda Bacon of Ankeny and Donna Reeder of Manchester; seven grandchildren, Allan (Krista) Boehmer, Brian Boehmer, Lisa (Eric) Williamson, James "Jay" (Amy) Reeder, Rebecca (Wesley) Peterson, Rachael (Michael) Koch and Autumn Reeder; and nine great-grandchildren, Robert, Reagan, Roman and Rhett Reeder, Esther Koch, Huston Williamson, Bella Boehmer, Axel Boehmer and Madden Peterson.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorials directed to the United Methodist Church Roof Fund or the Honor Flight Program.
Leonard-Muller Funeral Home & Crematory in Manchester is assisting the family with arrangements.

Funeral Service: 11 a.m. Saturday, March 29, at the United Methodist Church in Manchester, with the Rev. Mike Druhl officiating. Visitation: 10 a.m. until service time at the church on Saturday. Interment: Oakland Cemetery, Manchester.
