Grinnell
Don Mehlert, 85, of Grinnell, died Friday, Sept. 18, 2015, at Grinnell Regional Medical Center. A funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, at Smith Funeral Home in Grinnell. Interment will be at Hazelwood Cemetery in Grinnell. Friends may call at the funeral home beginning at noon Monday and the family will be present at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.
He is survived by his wife, Fran Mehlert of Grinnell; one son, Greg (Susan) Mehlert of Milton, Wis.; two grandchildren; and two sisters, Mardeen Kinsella of Bradenton, Fla., and Darlene Schauchp of Tucson, Ariz.
