Don LeRoy Patten, 70, died peacefully on Wednesday, November 27, 2024.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 PM, Thursday, December 5, 2024 at Lensing Oakhill Funeral Service, 210 Holiday Road, Coralville.
Funeral Services will be Friday at 11 AM at Grace United Methodist Church in Brooklyn, IA. Burial with Military Honors will follow at the Masonic - IOOF Cemetery in Montezuma, IA.
Memorials may be directed to the Swisher American Legion or to Catherine Patten, in memory of Don.
Don is survived by his wife, Catherine; daughter, Catherine Lee Swift; siblings, Linda Gerard, Lorraine Patten, Erin (Jimmy) Spencer, and Richard (Julie) Marsh; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family.
He was preceded by his parents; his daughter, Florence Patten, his sister, Patti; his brother, Michael Marsh; step-dad, Bill Marsh; and step moms, Doris Patten and Helen Patten.
