Domer, Reginald 'Reggie'
Reginald “Reggie” Domer, 48, died unexpectedly in his Mechanicsville home Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010. The family will greet friends Saturday from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. followed by Reggie's memorial service which will commence immediately following in Morgan Funeral and Cremation Choices Mount Vernon. Private graveside service in Rose Hill Cemetery, Mechanicsville.
Surviving Reggie are his siblings, Vicki (Kevin) Adamson, Amber, Iowa, Laurance (Mary) Domer, Liberty, Mo., Charles (LouAnn) Domer, Muscatine, Iowa, and Alesia (Kurt) Hampton, Lafayette, Ind. Reggie is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Bailey Adamson, Devin Domer, Katelyn and Brandon Domer, Zach and Shelah Kerschenske, and Anna and Jeremy Hampton.
Preceding Reggie in death were his parents, Laurance and Ariel Smith Domer.
Reggie was born July 25, 1961, in Cedar Rapids. He graduated from Lincoln High School. Reggie lived his whole life in Mechanicsville, the town he loved.
Reggie was an avid walker, walking in and around two counties. He was always known as a Green Bay Packer fan, often seen with his Packer apparel. He will be remembered for his kindness toward others and “Happy Earth Day.”
A memorial fund has been established.
