Dolphin, Becky R.
Becky R. Dolphin, 64, of 407 Hayes St. SW, Cascade, died Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at 3 a.m., at her home in Cascade, Iowa.In honoring Becky's request, a memorial service will be held at a later date in Schaller, Iowa. There will be no local services or visitation. The Reiff Funeral Home of Cascade is in charge of arrangements.
Becky was born Nov. 22, 1947, in Sac City, Iowa, daughter of Glenn and Betty (Voyles) Woodke.She was a graduate of the University of Iowa with a Master's Degree in Nursing.On March 31, 1999, she was united in marriage to Michael “Corky” Dolphin at St. Martin's Church in Cascade. She was an entrepreneur. She owned and operated PIP Printing in Cedar Rapids for over 25 years.
She is survived by her husband, Michael “Corky” Dolphin of Cascade; two children, Kelly Murphy of Cedar Rapids, and Mark (Tracy) Murphy of Des Moines; one granddaughter, Leila Murphy; a sister, Roxy (Tom) Buck of Schaller; a brother, Scott (Vilma) Woodke of Schaller; and an aunt, Virginia Freeman of Fonda.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
