Dolores Westfall, 92, of Marion, died Friday, March 6, 2015, at the Shell Rock Healthcare Center.
Dolores was born on Aug. 12, 1922, in Fort Madison, Iowa, and married Robert Westfall at Sacred Heart Church in Fort Madison, on Jan. 15, 1944.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her brother, Edward Walklin; and her sister, Lorretta Bueter.
Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Steinhoff of Waterloo and Constance Cornish of Indiana; three grandchildren, Tessa Cornish, Justin Steinhoff and Lisbeth Riley (Steinhoff); four great-granddaughters; and one great-grandson.
Dolores' body has been donated to the University of Iowa for medical research. Burial will be at a later date in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Fort Madison.
The family has planned to privately celebrate Dolores' life at a gathering in Waterloo.
