Dolores Svoboda, 94, of Sun City, Ariz., formerly of Cedar Rapids, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2021.
Dolores is survived by her husband, Sylvester "Dutch" Svoboda; her son, Dean Svoboda; and her brother, Lee Erger.
Dolores was born in 1927 to Ray and Thelma (Primrose) Erger. Dolores taught elementary school for many years in the Atkins and Cedar Rapids School Districts. She also worked at Duchess Dry Cleaners, which was owned by her husband. They were members of St Patrick's Church.
Dolores and "Dutch" retired and moved to Arizona in 1974. Dolores will be laid to rest in Sunland Memorial Park Cemetery in Sun City, Ariz.
