Dolores M. Pine, 91, of Marion, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. A funeral service celebrating Dolores' life will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids, with the Rev. Zachary Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Survivors include her daughter, Marsha (Wayne) Rasmussen of Marion; son, Jim Pine of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Aaron (Megan) Snyder of Maple Grove, Minn., Kyle (Jessica) Snyder of Cedar Rapids and Bryce Rasmussen of Fort Dodge; and great-grandsons, Owen, Oliver and William.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Pine, in 1984; and all of her siblings.
Dolores M. Wold was born May 10, 1923, in rural Clayton County, Iowa, the daughter of John and Mary (Rierson) Wold. On Sept. 4, 1943, she married Robert Proctor Pine in Port Orchard, Wash.
She was a member of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church. She enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in her name to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
