Dolores A. Grecian, 91, of Riverside, passed away Friday, Nov. 10, 2017, at Pleasantview Home in Kalona. Funeral services for Dolores will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15, at Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Riverside. Burial will be in Riverside Public Cemetery. Following services at the cemetery, a time of food and fellowship will follow at Trinity United Methodist Church in Riverside. Visitation for Dolores will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, at Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Riverside.

A memorial has been established at the funeral home in Dolores' name.

Dolores Ann Horak was born Feb. 23, 1926, in Washington County, Iowa, the daughter of John and Anna (Krotz) Horak. On Jan. 15, 1947, Dolores was united in marriage to Delbert Grecian in Iowa City. Dolores was a homemaker and helped in the kitchen at Highland Community Schools. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She enjoyed tending to her flowers, animals, polka music, game shows and life on the farm.

Dolores had a very caring heart and always enjoyed having her family around and her pet dog, Billy.

Dolores will be deeply missed by her children, Gary (Shelby) Grecian of Riverside, Larry (Sharon) Grecian of Riverside and Karen (Russell) Fox of Riverside; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and brother, Wayne (Liela) Horak of Iowa City.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Delbert, in 2001; brother, Dale; and one brother in infancy.
