Dolores N. Deutmeyer, 100, of Dyersville, died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014, at Oakcrest Manor in
Dyersville. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, at Kramer Funeral Home, 750 12th Ave. SW, Dyersville. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 19, at St. Francis Xavier Basilica in Dyersville, with burial in the church cemetery.
Dolores was born April 24, 1914, in Dyersville, the daughter of Joseph and Lenore (Wedewer) Schlarmann. She married Gregor Tegeler April 24, 1935. He preceded her in death in 1943. She later married Hubert Geistkemper on Feb. 13, 1954. He preceded her in death in 1975. Dolores then married Edmund Deutmeyer on April 20, 1976. He also preceded her in death in 1986.
Survivors include her son, Herb J. Tegeler of Dyersville; daughter, Mary Jean "Toots" (Henry) Westhoff of New Vienna; 12 grandchildren; 24 great- grandchildren and another on the way in September; and a brother, Joseph (Madeline) Schlarmann, and a sister, Anna Mae (Loras) Kieffer, both of Dubuque. She also is survived by members of the Tegeler, Deutmeyer and Geistkemper families
Dolores was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Doris Tegeler.
