Dolores Ann Burns, 80, died peacefully Friday, Jan. 13, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 20, 2023, at St. Patrick’s Church. Visitation will be from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Church. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Pulmonary Disease Research and Development Fund at the UIHC College of Medicine c/o the UI Levitt Center for Advancement, 1 West Park Rd., Iowa City, IA 52242
Dolores is survived by her husband, Frank; their children, Diane (Gary) Rogers of Iowa City and Frank lll (Erin) of Solon; four grandchildren, Ryan Rogers (fiance Holly Stepanek), Collin Rogers (Sean Easler), Oliver Burns and Violet Burns; her brothers, Mike (Gloria) Zager of Knoxville and Steve (Sheila) Zager of University Heights; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat Isabel.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary (Ryan) Zager Wolf; brothers, Jerry and Ron; her niece, Barbara; and her nephew, Daniel.
