Dolash, Willma
Wilma Dolash, 99, a resident of Carrington Place in Toledo, died July 16, 2010, at the care center. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 21, at 11 a.m. at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama, with the Rev. Gene Dolash officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Toledo. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Wilma was born March 12, 1911, in rural Traer, Iowa, the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Halupnik) Drahos. She attended country school in rural Traer. On Feb. 26, 1934, she was united in marriage to Frank E. Dolash in Marshalltown. They farmed west of Tama and moved to Toledo in 1935. Wilma attended Reformed Baptist Church in Tama. She enjoyed fishing, baking, gardening and playing cards.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Frank; a son, Roger in 1967; one granddaughter, Joleen; five brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include three sons, Donald (Debbie) Dolash of Cedar Rapids, Eugene (Judy) Dolash of Deltona, Fla., and Loren (Theresa) Dolash of Luck, Wis.; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established.
