Dixie Lee Winger, 78, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Monday, Dec. 29, 2014, at her home following a short illness. Per Dixie's wishes no services are planned. Her cremated remains will be inurned in the Cedar Memorial Park Mausoleum. Entrusted with the arrangements is Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Dixie Lee Winger was born on Feb. 15, 1936, in Mankato, Minn., the daughter of Clifford and Elaine (Holding) Winger. She is survived by her brother, Curtis (Ruth) Winger of Cedar Rapids. Dixie was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Denise Cummins; and a nephew, Lawson Cummins.
The family requests no flowers, but rather memorial donations can be directed to a charity of your choice in Dixie's honor.
