Diveley, Paul Christopher
Paul Christopher Diveley, 6-month-old son of Melissa and Christopher Diveley, died suddenly Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Funeral services will be held 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28, at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday before the service and following. Private family graveside services will be at Ridgewood Cemetery.
Paul Christopher Diveley was born Aug. 1, 2012, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Since that day he has grown into a very beautiful healthy little boy, loved by so many.
His family includes his parents, Christopher and Melissa (Schmitt) Diveley; brother, William; grandparents, Ronald and Jane Schmitt of Fort Atkinson, Robert and Lynn Diveley of Ottumwa and Julie and Jay Peterson of Russell, Iowa; great-grandparents, Marie Tieskoetter of Ossian, Elmer and Dorothy Schmitt of Fort Atkinson and Bonnie Thies of Iowa Falls; aunts and uncles, Shaun and Kendra Schmitt of Calmar, Scott Schmitt of Ridgeway, Heidi Schmitt of Fort Atkinson, Nick and Stephanie Diveley of Agency, Jennie and Jeremy Sanford of Ottumwa, Kelly and Richard Schlotter of Ottumwa and Becky and Andrew Zwack of North Carolina; and many cousins.
Paul was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Paul Tieskoetter, Wallace Thies, and Clarence and Vivian Diveley.
