Disterhoft, Mary Catherine
Mary Catherine Disterhoft, 80, of Marengo, died Thursday, May 10, 2012, at English Valley Care Center, North English. Funeral Mass: 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 15, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Marengo, with Father Joseph Roost and Father Brian Shepley officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Marengo. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, with a rosary at 7 p.m.
Mary is survived by eight children, Susan Bean (Leslie) of Williamsburg, Terrance (Camelle) of Tiffin, Diane Williams (Dan) of Conroy, Timothy (Ann) of Marengo, P. Bryan (Joyce) of Oxford, Mary L. Disterhoft of Hiawatha, Julie Bigler (Jackie) of Fairburn, Ga., and Colleen Lane (Dale) of Williamsburg; 19 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her siblings, John Frimml of Belle Plaine, Robert Frimml (Marlys) of Newhall, Jane Dietrich (Bill) of Victor, Luann Lutkenhaus (John) of Cedar Rapids, Marcia Bonham (Don) of Middletown, Ohio, Sandra Mantz (Bob) of Boca Raton, N.M., Richard Frimml (Dee) of Luzerne and Dave Frimml of Cedar Rapids; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Luella Stallman Frimml; her husband, Paul W. Disterhoft; a brother, Bill Frimml; and a sister, Margaret Stumpff.
A memorial fund has been established.
