Dirks, Suzanne M.
Suzanne M. Dirks, 67, of Anamosa, died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009, at her home following an extended illness. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Wayne Zion Lutheran Church, rural Monticello. Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, Monticello. The Rev. Jonathan Kosec will be presiding over the service. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Goettsch Funeral Home in Monticello.
Suzanne Marie Otten was born Oct. 3, 1941, in Monticello, Iowa, the daughter of James and Dorothy (Streeper) Otten.
She is survived by her son, Kevin (Karen) Eden of Portland, Ore.; daughters, Michelle (Lary) Winders and Jennifer (Derek) Josephson, both of Anamosa; and grandchildren, Matthew and Erika Eden of Portland, Ore.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Larry.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Boddicker and St. Luke's Hospice staff for the care and support they provided to Suzanne and her family.
