Dietiker, Vivian Louise
Vivian Louise Dietiker, 84, of Central City, died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha. Funeral Mass: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Prairieburg. The family will greet friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 2, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Central City, with a Scripture service beginning at 3:30 p.m. Burial: Boulder Cemetery, Prairieburg.
Survivors include her husband, Richard; her children, John, Ned, Joetta, Mary, Barbara and Rick; 25 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Marjorie, Charles and Robert.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Randall; and brother, Lewis.
Vivian was born March 5, 1929, in Jackson, Mich., the daughter of Charles and Beatrice (Lewis) Cuvelier. She married Richard Lee Dietiker on Nov. 1, 1948, in Jackson, Mich. Vivian worked for Ma Bell in Jackson and later worked for Collins Radio and the Central City Community School District as a cook.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hills Mill Homemakers Club and the Red Hat Society.
