Diane Marie Costolo, 71, of Coralville, passed away Monday, Nov. 20, 2017, at Windmill Manor. A memorial gathering is being planned for a future date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Diane was born on Sept. 22, 1946, in Manchester, Iowa, the daughter of Lloyd and Margaret (Sands) Mesch. She went to school in Manchester, and later moved to Coralville in 1974. Diane worked various jobs before becoming a receiving clerk at Target for 20-plus years, retiring in 2013. She loved her daily updates on grandchildren and spending time with family.
Diane is survived by her three daughters, Lisa Costolo of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Shelley Jacobus (Eric) of Palo, Iowa, and Tracy Costolo of Chandler, Ariz.; seven grandchildren, Devon Jacobus, Derek (Lexi) Jacobus, Dalles Jacobus, Kamae Jacobus, Todd Gusta, Kiree Crockett and Kila Crockett; and three siblings, Paul Mesch of Manchester, Iowa, Tammy Moriarity (Jammer) of Manchester, Iowa, and Pam Shaw (Doug) of Oviedo, Fla.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Saundra and David Mesch; and sister-in-law, Diane Mesch.
