Diane C. Charnowski, 61, of Cedar Rapids, passed away in the comfort of her home on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017.
No services are planned at this time. Inurnment will be held in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors include her daughter, Rochelle Charnowski of Cedar Rapids; sister, Cheryl Ray of Cedar Rapids; brother, Frank Ray of Anamosa; former husband, John Charnowski of Cedar Rapids; and longtime friend, Keith Brown of Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Diane Christine Ray was born March 28, 1956, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Harold and Marilyn (Mann) Ray. She graduated from Jefferson High School and Kirkwood Community College. She worked as food service coordinator at the Larry Nelson Center. Diane enjoyed sewing and going to the casinos.
She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.
