Diana Shelton, 79, of Lisbon, passed away Friday, June 16, 2017, at Lisbon Rehabilitation Center surrounded by her loving family. A Celebration of Life will be on Monday, June 19, at Sleep Inn in Mount Vernon from 6 to 9 p.m.
Diana was born Sept. 20, 1937, the daughter of Gerald and Louise (Thompson) Lang. She loved to read, solve crossword puzzles and spend time with family. She also enjoyed long drives with her companion, Earl.
Diana was a loving mother, grandmother, wife and friend. She will be greatly missed by those whose lives were enriched by knowing her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Darrell; and daughter, Rita Jean O'Donnell.
Left to cherish Diana's memories are her children, Kelly Shelton (Debbie), Julie Grimm (Tom), Doris Devaney (Mike) and Russ Shelton (Patti). There also are 17 grandchildren, along with 25 great-grandchildren.
