Funeral services for Darrell Dean DeWulf, 69, of Bennett, who passed away at Cedar Manor Nursing Home on Tuesday, June 15, 2010, will be held on Thursday, June 17, 10:30 a.m. at Peace Church of Christ United, Bennett, with Pastor Barbra Keiper officiating. A visitation will take place, Wednesday, June 16, 2010, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Fry Funeral Home, Tipton. Burial will be at Inland Cemetery, Bennett. Online condolences may be shared at .

Darrell Dean DeWulf, son of Charles Arthur and Viola Marie Stanlake DeWulf, was born June 5, 1941, in Davenport. He was a 1959 graduate of Bennett High School. Darrell was a farmer and enjoyed camping, fishing, and boating. On June 5, 1960, Darrell was united in marriage to Lynet Jane Schlueter in Bennett. He was a member of Peace Church of Christ United, Bennett.

Darrell is loved and survived by his wife, Lynet DeWulf of Bennett; daughter, Dawn (Jon) Hess of Lowden; son, Del (Amy) DeWulf of Bennett; his mother, Viola DeWulf of Durant; grandchildren, Kyle DeWulf and Cole DeWulf; and sister, Sharon Kleppe of Bennett. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles DeWulf, and brother-in-law, Loren Kleppe. A general memorial fund has been established in honor of Darrell.
