DeWees, Patricia 'Pat' Wiley
Patricia “Pat” Wiley DeWees was born in Cedar Rapids on Jan. 9, 1932, to Martin and Ernestine (Bice) Wiley. She graduated from Cornell College in Mount Vernon, where she met Tom DeWees, whom she married in 1952. She and Tom spent most of their lives in Dallas, Texas, where she died on Sept. 7, 2011.
She is survived by her husband; daughters, Debra Aughinbaugh (husband John) and Julie DeWees (fiance Michael Sparks); her grandsons, John Thomas Aughinbaugh (wife Charity), David Aughinbaugh and Mark Aughinbaugh; and her great-granddaughter, Libby Aughinbaugh.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
