DeVonna M. Pratt, 89, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, Sept. 29, 2023. Graveside services are set for Thursday, Oct.5, 2023, at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday, Oct. 5, 2023, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from noon until 12:45 p.m.
Survivors include her children, Juanita Lara of Blessings, Texas, Sandra J. (Ed) Callan of Shellsburg, Iowa, and Matthew Pratt of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; her siblings, Boyd (JoAnn) White of San Antonio, Texas, and Carma Harris of Waukon, Iowa; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Pratt; her daughter, Rose Duarte, and her parents; brothers, Conrad and Neil White; and a great-grandson, Tanner Port.
DeVonna was born Aug. 14, 1934, in Waukon, Iowa, the daughter of Ernest and Carlotta (Lier) White. She married Edward Pratt on June 18, 1954, in Waukon, Iowa. She was employed at Quaker Oats Company and D & J Dry cleaners. Her greatest love was being a homemaker and caring for her family. She was an avid Cardinals fan and loved making arts and crafts.
