Denny, Constance 'Connie'
Constance “Connie” Denny, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at the Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha. Per Connie's wishes there will be no visitation or services. Arrangements are by Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her husband, Robert; sons, Randy (Becky) Denny of Coggon, and Jason (Zowi) Denny of Hiawatha; daughters, Candi (Dave) Zenisek of Amana, and Kim (Lewis) Lentz of Springville; brother, Jack McDonough of Cedar Rapids; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and her beloved cat, Mitsey.
Connie was born April 6, 1939, in Ottumwa, Iowa, the daughter of Dewey and Elsie (Baker) McDonough. On April 7, 1956, she married Robert Denny in Ottumwa.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Bobby, Merle, and Everett McDonough.
