Dennis Womochil, 70, of The Woodlands, Texas, formerly of Walford, passed away Monday, Oct. 10, 2016, at Vitas Hospice House after a short battle with cancer. Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids is handling the arrangements.
Dennis was born July 29, 1946, to Leonard and Bernice (Probst) Womochil. Dennis graduated from Prairie High School in 1964.
Dennis was united in marriage to Irene Zelinski on Dec. 14, 1985.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Irene, and his grandson, Matt Zelinski, of The Woodlands. He also is survived by his sisters, Linda Werning, LoraLea Womochil and Lola (Rick) Kruse.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Dean; and his sister, LuElla Koopman.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
