DENNIS JOHN MARTIN

Dennis John Martin, 53, a lifelong resident of Cedar Rapids, went to be with his family on Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2018. Graveside service: 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 31, at Wilcox Cemetery near Viola, Iowa, in Jones County. Arrangements are with Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids.
Dennis enjoyed spending time and hunting with his grandfather whenever possible. He worked as a carpenter and roofer, but loved restoring and refinishing antique furniture.
He is survived by friends.
Dennis was preceded in death by his mother, Jo Anne Martin; grandparents, Jo and Elfried (Kaufmann) Hayden; and brother, Duane Martin.
