Dennis G. Hopkins, age 68 of Sunrise Beach, Missouri, passed away Monday, July 8, 2024, at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri.
Dennis was born in Muscatine, Iowa, on May 2, 1956, a son of Donald and Beverley (Wagg) Hopkins.
Dennis was married to Kathy Allnutt on July 19, 2012. They shared 11 years until the time of his passing.
Dennis was the owner and operator of Westar Electric in Sunrise Beach, Missouri. In his free time, he loved to be out boating or taking a ride on his motorcycle. He loved the lake life and all it had to offer. Dennis was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Dennis is survived by his wife Kathy Hopkins; his children: Ashley (Scott) Montgomery, Marianne Williams, Shad Yuska, Nicole Dyba (Jess); his grandchildren: Aubrey Underwood, Arlene Montgomery, Winston Montgomery, Brooklynn Yuska, Chloe Yuska, Ryan Dyba; his father Donald Hopkins; his brother Steven Hopkins (Nancy); his sister Shawna Hopkins-Steed; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Dennis was preceded in death by his mother, Beverley Hopkins.
Dennis always said, "Keep on Smiling".
Graveside services at St. Michaels Cemetery in Norway, Iowa, will be announced at a later date.
