Dennis Robert Edminster, 60, of Phoenix, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, July 2, 2017.
Surviving are his wife, Dana Edminster; children, Whitney (Ryan) Chase and Bob and Matt Edminster; brother, Bobby Edminster; sister, Tina Weber; and grandchildren, Teagan, Ainsley and Isla.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Patricia Edminster; and grandchildren, Lillian and Sadie.
Born April 24, 1957, in Dubuque, Iowa, Dennis earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1979 from Western Illinois University and a master's degree in education in 2004 from American Intercontinental University. On July 14, 1990, Dennis became sealed for time and all eternity to his sweetheart and dearest love, Dana, in the Chicago LDS Temple. Most recently, Dennis was proudly serving United States military veterans and active service men and women for USAA.
