Dennis, Charles R. 'Chuck'
Charles R. “Chuck” Dennis, 68, of Toledo, died Sunday, Oct. 3, 2010, at Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center. Funeral services and Masonic rites will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama, with the Rev. Jerry Evelsizer officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Toledo. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Dennis of Toledo; his mother, Elsie Carver of Marshalltown; one son, Ricky (Nicole) Halverson of Colo; two grandchildren, Kortnie and Tanner Halverson; a step-granddaughter, Tori Appelgate and her mother, Laura Bacino; two sisters, Sandy Bergman of Glenwood, Minn., and Barbara (Gary) Augustine of Marshalltown; one brother, Wesley (Marti) Childe of Mankato, Minn.; and many nieces and nephews.
