DeLung, Nancy Charlene

Nancy Charlene DeLung, 66. of North Liberty, died Monday, Feb. 7, 2011, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

Nancy was born Jan. 30, 1945, in Iowa City, the daughter of Charles and Thelma (Popham) DeLung. She graduated with the City High School class of 1963 and then attended Career Academy in Milwaukee, Wis. She worked in the health profession for many years in the area.

Nancy will be remembered for her love of animals, her wit and candid sense of humor, riding her motorcycle, watching old movies, and just sharing time with good friends and family.

Her family includes a sister-in-law, Barbara DeLung of Albany, Ga.; two nieces, Debbie (Mark) Reinertson and Teri (Jeff) Mouser; great-niece, Willow Mouser; and cousin, Linda Popham Vikel of Iowa City.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, William L. DeLung.
