Delphine E. Vander Hamm, 95, passed away Friday, March 30, 2018, at Rose Haven Nursing Home, Marengo. Funeral Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2018, St. John's Lutheran Church, Marengo, with the Rev. Andrew Gray officiating. Burial: Marengo Cemetery. Visitation: 9:30 to 10:30 Wednesday morning at the church, prior to services.
A memorial fund has been established.
Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Delphine is survived by nieces, nephews and their families.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Clellan and Eugene Vander Hamm; and a sister, Darlene E. Vander Hamm Hacker.
Delphine E. was born June 20, 1922, in Ireton, Iowa, the daughter of Oscar and Anna Rassler Vander Hamm. She was employed at Collins Radio Co. in Cedar Rapids from 1942 to 1982. She retired and moved to Marengo, where she was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She enjoyed quilting, crossword puzzles and playing Pinochle.
