Delpha Mae Larson, 95, of Marion, passed away Friday, June 30, 2017, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids. Services will be held at 11 a.m., with a visitation an hour before on Wednesday, July 5, at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories, Cedar Rapids. Pastor Carroll Brown will officiate. Entombment will be held at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her daughters, Betty (Harold Petersen) Barnard of Cedar Rapids and Barbara Izer of Iowa Falls; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four sisters and a granddaughter.
Delpha Mae was born April 6, 1922, to John and Lucy Radloff Hagensick in Clayton County, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Warren Larson on Dec. 3, 1940, in Farmersburg, Iowa. In 1952, she and Warren moved to Cedar Rapids. In 2011, they made their home at Evergreen Estates III, and then recently moved to Winslow House in Marion. Delpha Mae enjoyed gardening, playing bingo and cards. She especially enjoyed doing volunteer work.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the family.
