Indian Valley, Idaho
Della Marie Haberle, 80, passed away Friday, May 5, 2017, at Mercy Hospice, Johnston.
She was born April 3, 1937, to Dewey and Mildred (Derifield) Morris in Mount Auburn, Iowa, and graduated from Alburnett High School, Class of 1955.
In 1982, Della moved to Idaho, where she was a pharmacy technician and a waitress. She was a member of the "Knit Wits," where she was able to do her three favorite things: knit, quilt and spend time with friends. Della also loved to cook and always was ready to make sure you were fed.
Della is survived by her children, Mark (Julie) Ward and Julie (Jack) Holmes; granddaughters, Amanda Holmes and Jacklyn (Matt) Herbst; brother, George (Diane) Morris; and a host of other family and beloved friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Merl Ward; second husband, John Haberle; children, Dale and Lisa Ward; and siblings, Robert, Dale, Charles, John and Virginia Morris.
Memorial services will be held at a later date in Indian Valley, Idaho. A private interment will be held in Greens Grove Cemetery near Center Point, Iowa.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Indian Valley Fire Department, Indian Valley, ID 83632, in loving memory of Della.
