Delbert Flickinger, 91, died Monday, July 6, 2015, at the Buchanan County Health Long Term Care Center in Independence. Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 11, Aurora United Methodist Church. Burial: Union Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at Fawcett Funeral Home in Winthrop and after 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Survivors include his son, Lans and Julie Flickinger of Independence; his daughter, Candace Chaplin of Fort Worth, Texas; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and two brothers, Maurice Flickinger of Vinton and Duane Flickinger of Garrison.
