DEIDRE MARIE (RICHARDSON) FRETT

Deidre, "Dee" of Manchester, Iowa, passed away on April 9, 2022, following her battle with cancer. Dee was born in Levelland, Texas, on July 23, 1953. She was an extremely hard worker and retired after her 40 years of service at Cherry Burrell/Evergreen Inc., where she was a machinist. Dee was married to her love of her life, Ron Frett, and they shared over 51 years together. They owned and operated the Delaware Go Kart Track for many years, where she enjoyed greeting all the racers, their families and watching the young racers grow up at the track. Dee had many hobbies including traveling, swimming, planting flower, fishing and going to the races.
Dee was preceded in death by her sister, Laura Nicola, Michael Richardson; and her mother, Edith (Showman) Meyer.
Dee is survived by her loving husband, Ron; her father, John Meyer; siblings, Allan Richardson of Michigan, Monica Claman of Wyoming and Michelle Burhite of Iowa; and many, many nieces and nephews.
Dee requested that in lieu of flowers since there will be no service, she wanted everyone to smile at everyone you meet and send flowers to your loved ones.
