DeBrower, Patrick 'Pat'
Patrick “Pat” DeBrower, 27, died Saturday, August 21, 2010, from injuries suffered in an auto accident near Urbana. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, 212 E. Sixth St., Vinton, with Father Brian Shipley officiating. Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Victor. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established.
Pat was born Feb. 20, 1983, at Cedar Rapids, to Daniel and Kathy (Walker) DeBrower. He was employed as a machine operator for Klima Drainage Company.
He is survived by his mother, Kathy DeBrower of Walker; his father, Daniel DeBrower of Cedar Rapids; his daughter, Hope of Belle Plaine; his brother, Travis (Steph) DeBrower and their daughter, Sydnee of Cedar Rapids; his maternal grandparents, Judy and Russ Walker; and his paternal grandparents, John and Carol DeBrower, all of Cedar Rapids.
He was preceded in death by his great grandparents; his cousin, Greg DeBrower; and his uncle, Michael Butters.
