Debra Sue Olson, 64, of Brooklyn, Iowa, died Friday, June 24, 2016, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City. Memorial service: 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, Victor Baptist Church, Victor, with the Rev. Dan Andrews officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, at Kloster Funeral Home in Brooklyn.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
She is survived by her daughters, Gerrii Meola (Joe) of Altoona and Tommii McKusker (Kevin) of Marengo; seven grandchildren, Eve, Claire, Ella, Sophia, Taytin, Amelia and Morgan; three brothers, Thomas Thompson (Sue) of Brooklyn, Rod Thompson (Julie) of Vinton and Jeff Thompson (Renee) of Amana; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her parents, Gerald and Rosemary Walter Thompson, preceded her in death.
