Debra Ann Mills, 59, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, Feb. 27, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 6, at the Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel. Visitation: 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday at the Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel. Interment will take place at the Palo Cemetery.
Debra was born June 15, 1955, in Cedar Rapids, to Merle Leroy and Shirley Ann (Krueger) Mills. She graduated from high school in North Linn in 1973 and worked as an upholstery seamstress at Curl Upholstery, and later worked at Waypoint.
She enjoyed spending time with Cody, Taylor and her close friends, and baking cakes.
Debra is survived by her brother, Keith (Pam) Mills of Boonville, Mo.; nephew, Cody Mills; and niece, Taylor (Jack) Michalski, both of Boonville, Mo.; dear friends, Dave Calvert of Iowa City and Becky Oberhauser of Cedar Rapids; as well as many close high school friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
