Debra Jo Kaiser-Lee, 58, of Center Point, passed away Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016, at her home. Gathering of family and friends: 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids.
She was born March 26, 1958, in Davenport, Iowa, to James and Jacqueline (Lyon) Kelsey. Debbie, known as "Grandma Debbie" to many, found joy in spending time with her family, and was devoted to her grandchildren. Debbie also adored animals, loved and cared deeply for family and friends, and was always concerned for the well-being of others. She graduated from Kennedy High School and was a breast cancer survivor. She enjoyed watching movies, shopping for a good deal and collecting snow globes and Coca-Cola memorabilia.
She is survived by her children, Shannon Kaiser of Vinton, Scott Kaiser of Toddville, Samantha (Travis) Harre of Hiawatha and James (Dana) Lee of California, Mo.; 14 grandchildren; two stepdaughters, Jenny and Wendy, and their six children; and siblings, Diane, Jeri, Janet, Jackie and James.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Debbie's name.
