Deborah Rowley, 71, died Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Harmoney of Cedar Rapids.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday February 2, 2025, at the Anamosa American Legion Building from 2 until 6.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be left at any Hills Bank in Deborahs name. Goettsch Funeral Home, Anamosa, has taken Deborah and her family into their care.
Surviving are her children Jeannine (Tom) Givens, Kendra Gardner, Amanda Rowley, Jordan Fox, Rashelle Frasher, Roxie Davis and Scott Bailey, a bonus daughter, Alice, her grandchildren, Alisia Givens, Dustin Givens, Sophia Phams, Ava Draper, and Joseph Erickson and a great grandbaby on the way. She was preceded by her parents, her husband Rick and a brother David.
Deborah Katherine Willis was born December 16, 1953, in Louisiana. Deb was an Air Force Brat and attended school all over the United States. She graduated from Regis High School in Cedar Rapids with the class of 1972. She continued her education at Hamilton Business College and Kirkwood where she earned a AA and AS degree. She married Richard Rowley on July 2, 1977, at Prairie Chapel Church, Marion. Deb operated her own tax service for over 40 years. She had also prepared taxes at Montgomery Wards and Tax Act. In her spare time, she operated an embroidery business.
Deb liked to garden, go fishing, quilting and spend time with family and friends.
