Deb Flemming, 67, of Martelle, IA, died Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at her home following a brief illness.

Deborah Susan Knutsen was born September 8, 1957, in Anamosa, the daughter of George and Irene (Morning) Knutsen. She attended school in Anamosa, graduating from Anamosa High School in the Class of 1975. On October 16, 1976, she married Harold “Buzz” Fleming at the Anamosa Baptist Church. They shared 47 years together until his passing in 2024. She had worked as an Assembler at Rockwell Collins in Cedar Rapids.
She was an animal lover and enjoyed flower gardening and working at the couple’s hobby farm. She helped her husband restore 55 tractors. Of her pastimes, she enjoyed driving around Jones County with Buzz in their Polaris Ranger, spending their daily ritual of visiting the “Man Cave”, and entertaining the many visitors who dropped by the house.
She is remembered by her sister Judy, her brother Ron (Charlene) as well as by many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters Georgina, Sandy, Donna, and Yvetta.
