Deanna D. Seevell, 54, of Vinton, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 6, 2017, at Living Center West, Cedar Rapids. Visitation:
1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 9, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Center Point. Funeral service: 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 10, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Urbana, conducted by Father Ardel Barta. The family will greet friends one hour before the service at the church. Burial: St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Urbana.
Deanna is survived by her parents, Jim and Pat Seevell of Vinton; her children, Shane (Heather) Seevell, and their daughters, Hannah and Ava, of Jesup, and Danielle Reed of Vinton; significant other, Dave Reed of Vinton; and her siblings, Denice (Jay) Brehm of Urbana and Darrell Seevell of Center Point. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and great-nieces.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Don and Angie Zieser, and Alton and Lela Seevell.
Deanna was born Sept. 19, 1962, in Vinton, Iowa, the daughter of James and Patricia (Zieser) Seevell. She graduated from Urbana High School. Deanna enjoyed spending time with family and friends, camping, at the casino, fishing, baking and playing pool, cards and bingo.
A memorial fund has been established in Deanna's memory.
