David Wolfe, 59, of Newhall, died Thursday, Jan. 22, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. Funeral services: 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 26, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev.
Christopher Podhajsky. Visitation will be for one hour before the service. Casual attire is encour-aged. Burial: 1 p.m. Tuesday at Lindenwood Cemetery, Lindenwood, Ill.
Survivors include his mother, Kathleen Wolfe of Keystone; brother, Damon (Peggy) of Newhall; nieces, Caitlin (Cliff Reel) and Cassandra Lusk; and great- nieces, Lillian Duffy-Wolfe, Nevaeh Lusk and Ireland Lusk.
David was born Sept. 4, 1955, in Cedar Rapids, the son of LeRoy and Kathleen (Blomgren) Wolfe. David was a graduate of Kennedy High School and the welding program at Kirkwood Community College. He also served in the U.S. Navy.
David enjoyed golf, '50s and '60s music, classic cars, oil painting and playing the sax and drums.
He was preceded in death by his father, LeRoy; and his nephew, Tom.
