David Allen Stickley Jr., 34, of Marion, passed away Friday, July 10, 2015. A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, July 18, at St. James United Methodist Church, Cedar Rapids. Inurnment will be at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his son, Caleb Stickley of Marion; his father, David (Carol) A. Stickley Sr. of Cedar Rapids; his siblings, Christopher (Amanda) Petersen of Appleton, Wis., Dawn Stickley and Tiffany Stickley, both of Cedar Rapids, and nieces and nephews, Tiara, Monica, Devin, Tannon and Emma.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Catherine Stickley; and grandparents, Neville and Betty Boyle and Dale and Florence Stickley.
David was born Feb. 2, 1981, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of David and Catherine (Boyle) Stickley. David was a sheet metal journeyman for Universal Climate Control.
He enjoyed fishing, camping and the Iowa Hawkeyes, but it was his 7-year-old son, Caleb, who truly was the light of his life.
