David Charles "Slick" Platz, 58, formerly of Dyersville, passed away Jan. 9, 2019. A visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, at Kramer Funeral Home in Dyersville. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 18, at the Basilica of St. Francis Xavier. Following the Mass, David will be interred at St. Francis Cemetery.
