David L. Dietrich, age 84, of Williamsburg, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 2, 2024, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Funeral service: 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 6, 2024, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Marengo, with Rev. Andrew Gray officiating. Burial will be at Zion Cemetery, rural Ladora. Visitation: 4-6 p.m., Sunday, May 5, 2024, at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
David is survived by his wife Deloris of 64 years; children Debra (Gary) Wrede, Paul (Rhonda) Dietrich, and Daryl (Lisa) Dietrich; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a sister Karol Dietrich of Williamsburg.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister Barbara Ann in infancy, and a great-great-grandson Ryder Ingle.
