DAVID KIRKPATRICK Port Lavaca, Texas David Wayne Kirkpatrick, formerly of Cedar Rapids, born April 24, 1957, died Feb. 1, 2015, in Port Lavaca, Texas. He was the son of R. Wayne Kirkpatrick and Joyce Elaine Luke in Ottumwa. David trained in the job corps and after graduation joined the USMC. He was employed by R & G Shrimp Co. David is survived by three sisters, Diana Peters, Las Vegas, Carol Hauge (Nathan), Ely, and Angela Rodriguez (Robert), Cedar Rapids; nieces, Jessica, Ciara and Monica; nephews, Mitchell, Justin, Freddie, Stevie, Rio and Anikin; special friend, Sheila; aunts, uncles and cousins. David was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Charles; and nephew, Chaz Rodriguez.
